Editorial Independence
Our Mission & Independence Policy
Founded in 2011, ClubInsight Analytics publishes independent, peer-reviewed research on sports statistics, probability theory, and responsible analytical frameworks. Our editorial team operates under strict independence protocols: no content is commissioned, sponsored, or editorially influenced by any commercial entity.
All research methodologies, data sources, and analytical conclusions are subject to internal peer review before publication. Where a potential conflict of interest exists, it is disclosed prominently within the relevant article, consistent with academic publishing standards and FTC disclosure guidelines.
The Team
Dr. Marcus Chen
Lead Quantitative Analyst
Ph.D. Applied Mathematics — MIT
Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from MIT (2013). Formerly a quantitative researcher at Two Sigma and a visiting lecturer at the London School of Economics. Marcus leads ClubInsight's core probabilistic modeling framework, specializing in Poisson regression and Bayesian inference applied to competitive sports environments.
Dr. Sarah Novak
Head of Data Science
Ph.D. Statistics — ETH Zürich
Ph.D. in Statistics from ETH Zürich (2016). Sarah built predictive models for a major European sports data provider before joining ClubInsight in 2019. Her research focuses on Expected Goals (xG) model calibration, multi-league normalization, and responsible gaming analytics.
Prof. James Whitfield
Chief Research Officer
D.Sc. Statistics — Edinburgh
Professor of Statistics at the University of Edinburgh (on sabbatical). James brings 20 years of academic research in probability theory, behavioral decision science, and financial risk modeling. He serves as editorial overseer for all peer-reviewed content published on ClubInsight.
Dr. Linh Nguyen
Data Infrastructure Lead
M.Sc. Computer Science — NUS
M.Sc. in Computer Science from NUS Singapore (2015). Linh architects ClubInsight's data ingestion pipelines, real-time API feeds, and analytical database systems. She previously led the data platform team at SportRadar's Singapore office.
